LOGAN TWP. – At the Logan Township Council meeting, an ordinance was approved and adopted to prohibit use in all districts for data centers and detention centers.
A data center called Earth station-76 had been planning a facility on Route 130. However, the plans for the site on their website have recently been removed.
Their original plan calls for a 560,000 square foot facility for data racks and offices. It was said to be off-grid, carbon capture, and ultra-low impact with mechanical equipment housed in ground.
