CLARKSBORO — Residents of East Greenwich attended a Senior Fair on Saturday, April 18.
The fair, designed to connect older adults and their families with valuable local and county senior-based services and support programs, was well attended. Twenty-five community departments, local churches, and service organizations hosted informational tables and provided one-on-one conversations with knowledgeable representatives.
One feature of this year’s event was on-site health screenings, including free blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol testing, and hearing screenings.
The event was sponsored by the East Greenwich Senior Citizens Committee.
