St. Peter’s Community Pantry News

CLARKSBORO — St. Peter’s Community Pantry is truly just that, a community pantry serving the community and served by the community.

Our volunteers and our clients come from all walks of life, all socioeconomic levels, and all ages.

We are proud to share the news that several of the youngest members of our community have taken the initiative and volunteered to host food drives, both within their own school and neighborhoods, in support of the Pantry.

Our sincere thanks go out to Marley Stang, a student at Mullica Hill Friends School, who hosted a food drive at her school, and to Colin Messick, Julianna Masciangelo, Alessandra Rossi, Maya Kuminski and Jayda Romagnoli, all Kingsway High School National Honor Society students, who initiated their own food drives and brought bags upon bags of items to the Pantry.

Kingsway Regional High School conducted a school wide Food Drive during the month of April with each grade assigned to donate a particular pantry staple. The classes were vying for a chance to win a free “Chik-Fil-A” day.

Not to be outdone, Kingsway Middle School will be hosting their second annual Food Drive in support of St. Peter’s Community Pantry from May 4 to May 15. Parents, family members, and neighbors of our Middle school kids are encouraged to support their efforts in May.

We are always looking for people to help at the pantry as volunteers, or to host a food drive to support the pantry. If you, your neighbors, a group that you belong to, or your employer are looking for a place to donate your time, talent or treasure, St. Peter’s Community Pantry is that place.

Please contact the pantry at www.stpetersclarksboro.org/pantry or call the pantry at 856-599-0491 and leave a message for us. We look forward to hearing from you.
