WOOLWICH TWP. – The expansion of the Lock Ave Park is nearing completion with a tentative opening in mid-September. The drone picture here show the new sports fields, waiting for the grass to grow in, and the multi-purpose field. The new 34-acre section will include two softball/baseball fields with lights, two multipurpose fields such as soccer, lacrosse or field hockey with lights, 1.2-mile multi use path with solar lights, new parking, pavilion with picnic tables, restrooms, bike racks, and an area for pop up practices.
