WOOLWICH TWP. — Woolwich Township resident Haley Blair has advanced to compete as City-Queen and named a Miss Gloucester County, New Jersey competitor in the National All-American Miss Pageant in Orlando, Florida this November.
Haley, a Kingsway Regional 7th grade student, placed in 10 categories at the state level last month. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, Haley will represent Gloucester County with pride.
Haley, as a NJ Be Strong NJ State Representative, is beginning a Yellow Ribbon Challenge to help prevent isolation and suicide. When you see the yellow ribbon, please remember to reach out and call (text, etc.) someone to check in on them.
Given a national voice, she would be able to spread this message of hope and support further. Additionally, Haley wishes to raise awareness on organic food waste recycling to a Class 1 Facility that turns food waste into sustainable energy.
A very special thank you to supporters such as Swedesboro True Value, Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe, Flowers by Dena, Swedesboro Performing Arts Academy, and many other surrounding businesses and residents for helping give a voice to young women.
