July 7: Officers responded to Wawa on Center Square Rd. for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that on June 27, an employee removed $100 from the cash register. As a result, the 58-year-old Pedricktown female was charged with Theft and released on a summons, pending a future court date.

July 12: Officers attempted to make a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Rd. While approaching the vehicle, officers observed the driver pull into Amazon, let a passenger out of the vehicle, and pull away before the passenger was completely out of the vehicle. Officers then continued to attempt to stop the vehicle but ceased this attempt for citizen safety. Further investigation led to the male suspect being identified as Kadell Hammond, a 29-year-old New Castle, DE resident. He was subsequently issued several motor vehicle charges and a criminal charge for Eluding.

July 17: Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Heron Dr. While investigating the crash, officers arrested the 36-year-old Swedesboro man for Driving Under the Influence. He was released to a third party with a pending court date.

July 21: Officers responded to Banneton Bakery on Pedricktown Rd. for an Assault. It was reported that two employees had engaged in a fight. Investigation led to the arrest of a 44-year-old Cherry Hill man He was charged with Simple Assault and released pending a future court date.

July 21: Officers responded to the field area on High Hill Rd. near I-295 for an open fire. It was revealed that wooden fencing had been purposely set ablaze. The Detective Unit is investigating this incident with the Logan Twp. Fire Dept.

July 31: Officers responded to S & S Auction on Repaupo Station Rd. for a Trespassing and Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that an individual entered onto their property overnight and damaged statues, a vase, furniture, and a window to a vehicle. The damage is estimated at $8,500.

July 31: Officers responded to Oak Grove Rd. for a motor vehicle crash. Due to the driver’s injuries, he was taken to the hospital for further care. Further investigation into the crash led to charging the 25-year-old male from Woolwich with Driving Under the Influence. He was turned over to the hospital to continue being treated for his injuries.
